Your Role: 

Millipore Sigma has a new opening as a Warehouse Lead – 1st shift at the St. Louis, Ewing site.  Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, you will develop, coordinate, and participate in daily Materials Management Supply Chain operations.  Job duties include;

 

1st shift: Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:30pmServe as a leader over all assigned warehouse function; train, provide and lead work by giving directions and guidance to all assigned staff; prioritize work assignments; participate in the pre-hiring and screening of new applicants as assigned.Oversee and operate a variety of warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.Using SAP management systems at an advance level; and assigned software to input data and generate reports. Demonstrating good verbal and written communication skills, Being the first point of contact for the warehouse, sending and answer email.Oversee and participate in the material handling, receiving, TM planning and all the shipping operations, Help maintain the inventory and trouble-shooting all warehouse functions including equipment and chemicals issues; assure all materials are being delivery in a timely manner and customer request are executed in a timely manner.Prepare, maintain, and submit a variety of inventory records and reports related to warehouse operations.Maintain warehouse operations in a clean, orderly, safe, and secure condition that meets cGMP and 6S standards; Represent the warehouse operation by interacting with internal and external customers and auditors.Make recommendations regarding proper storage, inventory management and warehousing procedures and improvements to improve warehouse efficiency.Serve as the Warehouse Supervisor in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor as assigned.Travel between warehouse operations

 

Physical Attributes:

Lift up to 50 poundsWear steel toe shoes, safety glasses, nitrile gloves, lab coat and his-vis vet or clothing.

 

Who You Are:


Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED3+ years of experience working with Oracle and/or SAP.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong math skills including unit of measure conversionGood leadership and organizational skillsAbility to guide employees in these processes and to troubleshoot systems
