Summary of the Position:The Warehouse Lead performs general warehouse and dock operations. This position acts as a backup to the Warehouse Coordinator and to the shipping/receiving clerk as needed. The Warehouse Lead also ensures policies (GMP, JBSS, HAACP) are followed in their area of responsibility.

Audits inventory transactions for timeliness, optimal FEFO rotation, and material placement and storage according to GMP.

Leads the team in following all GMP, HAACP, and MSS policies.

Monitors shipping, receiving, and issuing/de-issuing of ingredients.

Acts as back up to Warehouse Coordinator.

Review all shift-produced paperwork for accuracy.

Schedules weekend overtime as needed.

Operates finished goods and WIP station robots.

Trains new drivers on QAD, safety, and line supply procedures.
Education, Experience, and Knowledge: 3-5 years of warehouse experience including knowledge of Shipping, Receiving, and Line SupplySkills and Competencies:
Work experience in managing systems & people.Knowledge of QADGood computer experience; Excel experience is a plus.Able to multi-task, prioritize, and possess good decision-making skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must be flexible to cover other shifts as needed.
