Job Description

Looking for a Warehouse Specialist to perform a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.

Here is glimpse of what you will do:

Receiving:

- Responsible for all Receiving

- Accurate counts to bill of lading/invoice/etc.

- Signoffs, bringing documents to office immediately (noting any discrepancies in person)

- Make sure that documents are signed off for customer pickups

- Handling any issues (damage, etc.) before driver leaves (pictures, noting any damage to product/packing on slip)

- Putting racks together (w/labels) for unloading of trucks when needed (Amsco, Andersen, etc.)

- Notifying the office of any FedEx, UPS, etc. receivals (give Bills of Lading)

- Label Glass Received (Customer/Job Site/etc.)

Screens/Etc.:

- Providing office with a list of screens bags/patio door screens

- Placing vendor name on screen bag/patio door

- Putting screen bags/patio door screens away after inspection

- Retrieving screen bags/patio doors for inspection and installation

- Removing Hardware Packs from Ence Patio Doors - goes to CN

- Putting all Amsco received hardware in Screen bag (except for Ence - goes to CN)

General Housekeeping:

- Responsible for ultimate organization/cleanliness of the shop

- Notify supervisor of any issues preventing this from being done

- Keeping the immediate Receiving area clear except for active loading/unloading of trucks.

- keeping the warehouse/grounds clean

Inventory/Supplies:

- Making sure that all items are labeled and put away in the proper area (organized)

- Performing weekly checks on items that need to be ordered

General Items:

- Assist in Loading/Unloading of Trucks

- Be Forklift Certified

- Assist with Deliveries/Installs as time allows

- Keep Manager aware of any pending deliveries that require assistance (date/time range)

- Handle Customer Pickups - check pick up bin (Make sure paid) - give folder to Office

Corporate Goals/Responsibilities:

• Load and unload installer’s trucks; Ensures the Load In / Load Out policies are adhered to.

• Perform a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy and completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.

• Perform receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.

• Maintain, clean and organize facility by sweeping, trash removal, etc.

• Receive and inspect incoming material orders from approved vendors.

• Cycle count inventory, store in orderly and accessible manner, while inspecting stock items for wear or defects and reporting to supervision.

• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.

• Help out with deliveries/installs as needed.  Make occasional deliveries to job sites or customers.

Here is some of what you will need (required):

• Forklift certification.

• Strong Math Skills.

• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.

• Ability to stand for up to 8-10 hours to perform job related tasks.

• Clear Post Offer Drug Screen.
