Our client, a renowned leader in the avocado industry known for distributing high-quality avocados and fresh produce, is seeking a Warehouse Lead to join their team in Swedesboro, NJ. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations at the warehouse, ensuring efficiency and excellence in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise warehouse staff and manage daily operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping avocados and related products.Ensure accuracy in order picking, packing, and shipping processes.Monitor inventory levels, promptly reporting any discrepancies.Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to maintain a smooth workflow and ensure timely delivery of goods.Implement and uphold safety and sanitation protocols within the warehouse.Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment functionality and organizational standards.Train and mentor warehouse team members to uphold high performance standards.Troubleshoot operational issues and develop solutions to enhance productivity.

Qualifications:

Bilingual in English and Spanish.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the produce or food industry.Proven leadership and team management experience.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.Forklift certification is preferred but not required.

Shift and Pay:

Monday to FridayFlexibility required during day shift hours, from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PMCompetitive pay of $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
