The Job Details: The Warehouse Lead performs all duties of a warehouse associate and assumes the responsibilities of the supervisor in their absence. This role requires effective leadership, communication, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• • Serve as a visible leader within the Cold Crew, fostering strong relationships with staff and promoting our company culture.
• • Act as a key liaison between warehouse staff and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• • Maintain high standards of warehousing practices, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and inventory accuracy.
• • Enhance operational efficiency by leading, training, and mentoring Warehouse Associates, driving performance improvements.
• • Support assigned associates in meeting productivity goals while addressing any violations of safety or company policies.
• • Proactively troubleshoot warehouse challenges, collaborating with team members to find effective solutions.
• • Manage the truck dock operations, coordinating trailer movements and overseeing the flow of pallets in and out of storage areas.
• • Utilize our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to assign doors, direct tasks, and handle exceptions efficiently.
• • Serve as a primary contact for escalating issues and facilitating timely resolutions.
• • Assume supervisory responsibilities as needed to ensure team accountability and operational success.
• • Perform Warehouse Associate duties as required by business demands.

What We Are Looking For:
Education
· High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Experience
· · Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, with prior leadership experience preferred.
