As a Warehouse Lead, you'll partner with Operations Leadership to ensure the seamless flow of daily operations. From assigning tasks to coaching team members, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring safety, productivity, and quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities:
Team leadership: Plan, assign, and oversee the work of warehouse associates within your designated area.Quality control: Identify defective or damaged products and initiate timely corrective actions.Hands-on support: Step in as needed to assist with warehouse tasks, including loading/unloading, forklift operation, and product relocation.Inspections: Perform and document daily equipment and trailer inspections to maintain compliance and safety standards.Compliance checks: Review inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy, reporting any discrepancies or quality concerns.Coordination: Maintain clear and consistent communication with Traffic and Customer Service teams.Coaching: Provide guidance and constructive feedback to warehouse associates to support their growth and performance.Additional Responsibilities:
Complete assigned projects and other duties as instructed by leadership.Qualifications and Skills:
At least 3 years of experience in a warehouse and/or logistics environment.Ability to work in varying temperatures, from -20°F/-25°C in cold storage to 100°F/37°C in dry storage, with provided PPE and freezer gear.Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs./18 kgs. (weight requirements may vary by facility).Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends, based on business needs.Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels, which can occasionally be loud.Why You’ll Love This Role:
