**Now Hiring Warehouse Lead's!** Starting pay $17.00/hr, Bloomington, Illinois As a Warehouse Lead, you will oversee the daily operations and supervision of our dedicated warehouse team. Your primary responsibility will be to foster a safe and efficient work environment by implementing and upholding company safety protocols. You will engage with customers to coordinate shipment schedules, propose enhancements for safety and operational efficiency, and manage various programs within your purview. Additionally, you will ensure precise inventory management, maintain a clean and organized warehouse, and safeguard the structural integrity of our facility. **Responsibilities** + Supervise daily operations of warehouse employees. + Communicate with customers about shipment departures. + Suggest improvements for warehouse safety and process efficiency. + Implement programs within the area of responsibility. + Ensure accurate inventory counts during shipping and receiving. + Establish work schedules to meet customer shipment requests. + Train new forklift operators using the company's certification program. + Monitor pest populations and implement a pest control program. + Ensure accuracy of row location information within RIC. **Essential Skills** + Forklift operation + Material handling + Preventative maintenance + Inventory control + Production + Data entry + Scanning **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous Agricultural/Farming experience + Understanding of QMS programs + Inventory management skills **Work Environment** The work environment is a large agricultural facility with conditioning towers and wash stations.
