About the team Our Warehouse Operations team is the heartbeat of our fulfillment process, expertly managing everything from inbound shipments to outbound deliveries, including returns, picking, packing, and shipping. About the role The Black Tux is looking for a Warehouse Lead to help with outbound functions in our Pittston, PA warehouse. The lead is responsible for monitoring all productivity and quality of all outgoing inventory. This position will also ensure that orders are leaving with the customer in mind to uphold our high quality standards and this position will report to the Area Manager.  An ideal candidate will provide a positive example of performance, safety, and reliability to the rest of the team.What You’ll DoLead a team of 3 to 40 associates throughout the year during our peak seasonsReview and execute floor plans by management to meet daily goalsComplete start of shift meetings with teams daily to go over performance metrics, daily goals, safety tips, quality standards, and moreReview and update associates hourly on TPH performance to ensure floor plans/daily goals are being metMake callouts to management staff on any unsafe practices within the operation to ensure the safety of all employeesWork with cross-functional partners in other departments to balance backlogs coming from the departmentsNotifies the inventory ambassador and/or lead about the shortage of any supplies required to conduct the workFollows the standard operating procedures and notifies the manager in case of any challenges performing the function as documented in SOPProvides real-time coaching on safety, quality, behavior, or performance standards according to our TBT policies and valuesGrow your ambassador to be able to take on the next level within leadership following TBT guidelinesNotifies your manager immediately about any consistent quality defects that are occurring and proactively plan to find a real-time solutionUnderstand and be able to learn industry-specific technologyComplete end-of-shift reports as required within the leadership team and speak to any misses within your departmentPerform all other duties as assignedYou describe yourself as kind, collaborative, and creative. The reason being is that these roles have a requirement for a physical presence to do their job with customers, team members, or at one of our locations. We host a number of onsite events where all our team members are welcome!
Pay and Benefits The base hourly range for this position will be $22.83/hr-$24.09/hr. Compensation may vary based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and location. The Black Tux defines compensation plans using market data aligned with comparable companies at a similar stage and size as ours.
