Warehouse Lead
**Job Title: 2nd shift Warehouse Lead** **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Mixer Operator/Forklift Operator for our manufacturing facility. **Shift** (2 PM - 10:30 PM / 3 PM - 11:30 PM) **Pay:** $27.50 **Responsibilities** + Monitor incoming quality of containers and ensure adequate supply for uninterrupted filling line operation. + Calibrate and operate filling machines according to batch tickets for correct product. + Monitor weights and quality appearance of containers, ensuring no drips and retaining samples for control lab. + Ensure lid dropper has an adequate amount of lids for uninterrupted operation and that lids are properly sealed and labeled. + Maintain and adjust the bail-o-matic machine as needed. + Ensure the case packer has an adequate supply of cartons and tape and verify the legibility and correctness of carton information. + Supply empty pallets to the palletizer and offload full pallets as needed. + Accurately count fill and input data into terminal for inventory control using electronic information systems. + Maintain forklift or other related equipment by checking battery and electrical hook-up. + Follow all safety guidelines and rules, including environmental and regulatory guidelines, and use all required safety equipment. + Maintain quality and cleanliness of the work area and equipment. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + High School diploma or equivalent required. + Basic math skills (addition/subtraction). + Ability to work in a team environment and cross-functionally. + Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and cleanliness. + Ability to use company software and computer system programs. + Good interpersonal communication skills. + Ability to work safely and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs). + Ability to work overtime (up to 4 hours past regularly scheduled shift) and weekends when required. + Ability to operate fill by weight machine, video jet, labeler, palletizer, case packer, can and carton computer, and depalletizer. + Ability to operate the tower independently. + Ability to operate a gallon line and quart line independently. + Ability to operate a gallon line casepacker and five line independently. + Ability to operate a gallon line and operate a small batch independently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment. + GED or High School diploma required for permanent conversion. + Ability to use forklift, winch, and trolley system. + Experience running the filling line and packaging goods for up to 8 hours per day. **Why Work Here?** Join our team and become part of a dynamic work environment that values teamwork, safety, and quality. The facility spans 10,000 square feet with 40 employees working on the floor. You will be working with large paint filling lines and are expected to maintain cleanliness and safety standards at all times. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milford, Massachusetts. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.50/hr.
