Warehouse Lead- Solar Panel Equipment
Commercial Scale solar installation company is seeking a Warehouse Lead for their Ontario, CA location. Pay ranges from $25-30/hr depending on experience. **Job Summary:** A Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting in the efficient and smooth operation of the warehouse. This includes tasks such as receiving, storing, and dispatching goods and products. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work as part of a team to ensure that warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. **Key Responsibilities:** **Receiving and Inspecting Goods:** + Unload incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders. + Inspect items for damages and report discrepancies. **Storing and Organizing Inventory:** + Properly store goods in the designated areas within the warehouse. + Maintain an organized and clean storage area to optimize space and accessibility. + Label and tag items accurately for easy identification and retrieval. **Order Fulfillment:** + Pick and pack orders according to customer requirements and company standards. + Ensure that orders are accurately filled and prepared for shipment in a timely manner. + Prepare shipping documents and labels for outgoing shipments. **Inventory Management:** + Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy. + Update inventory records in the warehouse management system. + Assist in identifying and addressing inventory discrepancies. **Safety and Compliance:** + Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. + Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and responsibly. + Comply with company policies and regulations regarding warehouse operations. **Communication and Teamwork:** + Collaborate with other warehouse associates and departments to ensure efficient operations. + Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and external stakeholders. + Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. **Qualifications:** + **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent. + **Experience:** Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred. **Skills:** + Strong organizational and time-management skills. + Attention to detail and accuracy. + Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items. + Basic computer skills for inventory management. + Good communication and teamwork abilities. **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods. + Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs). + Comfortable working in various environmental conditions (e.g., cold storage, outdoor loading areas). **Work Environment:** + Warehouse environment with exposure to moving machinery and varying temperatures. + Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
