POSITION SUMMARY

Under the general supervision of the Warehouse Manager, this employee will perform a variety of duties.  The main goal is to become a single point of contact or communication conduit between various Solenis functional groups and the 3PL warehouses. This position will be called on to problem solve and must have critical thinking skills. This position works in a team environment and is required to assist others when necessary and must demonstrate skills as a self-starter and be self-directed. Has no formal managerial responsibility, but may provide guidance to colleagues (e.g., provides coaching, assigns work, provides input into hiring decisions and evaluating performance).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reconcile Inbound orders against 3PL dataReconcile Inventory between SAP and the 3PL’s WMSReconcile Outbound shipments to ensure closure within 24 hoursMonitor ICR (inquiry, change request) document and execute order change requestShipment building, delivery creation and modificationWill be called on to work closely with 3PL & Transportation resourcesMonitor EDI and Non-EDI communication to/from 3PLResolve EDI and Non-EDI errors by using various SAP transactions and employing investigative skillsRespond to various inquiries from CS concerning order statusesCreate reporting to monitor past due transactionsCreate POs in Ariba as called upon by Warehouse management and reconcile invoicesMonitor OT shipping by running SAP transactionLines up SAP T/L shipping dates with 3 PL shipping dateFacilitate Rush orders as requested by CSCan be called on to execute inventory management transactionProvide external support to other US shipping plantsParticipate in all LEAN InitiativesMaintain shipping volume reporting
