Our client, a leading food production company, is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Vernon, CA. This role involves performing advanced electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs, as well as overseeing equipment maintenance to ensure optimal production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform advanced repairs, installations, and adjustments on electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Monitor equipment functions and conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.Set up processing and packaging equipment for production runs.Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical control issues to ensure seamless operations.Train and oversee plant associates, ensuring adherence to proper equipment setup practices.Organize and maintain inventory of parts and supplies for efficient maintenance operations.

Requirements:

5 to 10+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a food production environment.High School diploma and certifications from a Technical Trade School, or a combination of relevant experience and education.Proficiency with PC operations.Advanced knowledge of food manufacturing production line setup and repair.Skilled in production and packaging equipment setup.Basic fabrication skills, including sanitary welding and operation of metal lathe and end mill.Basic understanding of PLC troubleshooting.Advanced knowledge of electrical control wiring.Familiarity with standard workplace safety practices, including procedures.Proficient English language skills; bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch; reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Pay & Schedule:

$22.00Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; schedule may change based on operational needs
