Warehouse Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Typically faces situations that have a variety of interpretations and require careful evaluation. Typically solves problems by considering courses of action within the framework of company’s goals and standards. Ability to attend various meetings as requested with minimal advanced notice.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervises a team of warehouse employees, at one or more locations. Oversees the organization and overall cleanliness of the warehouse, test/refurbishment area, receiving area, and any other location affected by general warehouse activities. Audits and reports inventory as needed while making recommendations on stock items, min max levels and obsolete items. Establishes good warehousing practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse. Sets warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads Monitors workplace performance and leads training initiatives to improve employee performance. Establishes goals for the Equipment Test Center, monitors and reports on those goals ensuring production efficiency is maintained. Keeps up-to-date on the latest federal and state safety regulations. Ensures the safe use of warehouse equipment. Ensure the maintenance and development of a computerized database tracking the current status, reconditioning and disbursement of equipment. Plan and carry out direct equipment reconditioning to meet agreed product demands. Maintain and report on equipment and software suitability for direct customer installation purposes. Respond to and follow up stock inquiries by e-mail, telephone, and personal visits. Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred but not required Minimum of two (3) year's Warehouse work experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role Flexibility to work holidays, days, nights and weekend shifts based on business needs Participate with on-call rotation. Must have a current State issued Driver’s License and safe driving record with no restrictions.
