Warehouse Manager
**Job Title: Warehouse Manager** **Job Description** The Flooring Warehouse Manager is responsible for the condition of the warehouse and facilities, product movement into and out of the warehouse, and assisting with deliveries, installations, and special assignments. They supervise Warehouse Members and Leads, fostering a collaborative, safe, and efficient work environment. The role also involves scheduling incoming product shipments, checking in and staging materials, and monitoring inventory stock levels. **Responsibilities** + Schedule incoming product shipments, check in, and stage materials. + Supervise and assist in the safe unloading of all delivered products, ensuring no damage occurs. + Note all product damage on shipping documents and obtain appropriate signatures. + Mark each carton received with the required information. + Monitor inventory stock levels, ensuring the availability of products needed for installation and customer orders. + Order new stock when needed and use all information available to obtain the best pricing. + Follow up and determine the final disposition of product returned from job sites. + Ensure no product leaves the warehouse without the proper paperwork. + Pull, stage, and assist with the assembly and loading of products for delivery. + Ensure products are loaded safely and timely to avoid injury and damage. + Coordinate pick-up of materials with vendors and deliveries to job sites. + Complete Returned Goods Authorization for products when authorized by the manufacturer. + Train team members in product handling techniques and use of materials handling equipment. + Supervise warehouse team members, including training, coaching, safety procedures, and performance management. + Store all products in an organized, identifiable, and retrievable manner to utilize warehouse space efficiently. + Supervise the maintenance of lift trucks and grounds fencing, and assist with repairs when required. + Complete cut jobs for order fulfillment. + Work closely with the Flooring Operations Manager to resolve any significant problems and assist with delivery and installation functions. + Act as liaison for documents to/from installers. + Assist customers and participate in weekly training and safety meetings. + Ensure the security of the warehouse and vehicles. + Adapt functions as necessary to meet business needs. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency with power tools and hand tools. + Experience in warehouse management, supervision, inventory control, and logistics. + Skills in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, and material handling. + Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems. + Supervisory skills and forklift operation. + Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. + Strong safety awareness and loading skills. + Data entry proficiency. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. + Ability to tailor messages across various audiences. + Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships. + Strong team player. + High level of self-discipline, motivation, and integrity. + Problem-solving orientation and critical thinking skills. + Ability to generate new ideas that add value. + Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. + Strong execution management and follow-through. + Ability to drive for results and foster a sense of urgency. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive health and dental benefits, paid time off (PTO), 8 paid holidays, and 40 hours of sick pay.
