Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee inventory management, receiving operations, cycle counts, inventory audits, removal of expired materials, and shipping. Our company specializes in manufacturing electrical components for harsh environments, and the Warehouse Manager will ensure that all materials are accurately tracked, received, stored, and shipped, while maintaining the highest standards of inventory control and quality. This position will play a key role in supporting our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Shift

1st Shift M-F 9:00am-5:00pm

ResponsibilitiesOversee all inventory activities to ensure accurate and efficient tracking of materials, components, and finished goods.Coordinate with purchasing department to maintain optimal inventory levels and collaborate with the Customer Success Team Manager to align inventory needs with customer demand.Ensure materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures, overseeing the rotation of inventories within the warehouse.Manage inventory to support the production schedule and ensure the availability of necessary components for manufacturing and assembly of electrical products.Perform and monitor the receiving process to ensure all incoming materials are inspected, counted, and logged accurately into the inventory system in a timely manner.Lead regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and address discrepancies in real-time.Work with accounting to plan and execute periodic full-scale inventory audits to comply with industry regulations and company standards.Supervise and assist in shipping operations to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective dispatch of products.Supervise and assist in the preparation, packaging, and labeling of products for shipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Lead and supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations.Promote a culture of continuous improvement, emphasizing safety, accuracy, and efficiency in all warehouse activities.Ensure all warehouse activities adhere to safety standards, particularly in the handling of electrical components and hazardous materials.Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.Provide regular reports to the Customer Success Team Manager regarding inventory levels, receiving discrepancies, shipping performance, and overall warehouse operations.Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Purchasing, and Production, to ensure smooth material flows and meet customer delivery expectations.Essential Skills & QualificationsProven experience as a Warehouse Manager, preferably in a manufacturing environment related to electrical components or industrial products.Proven experience managing a team.Strong knowledge of inventory control practices, receiving operations, cycle counts, and auditing processes.Experience overseeing the handling and shipping of specialized products, with attention to detail in packaging and regulatory compliance.Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office.Understanding of safety protocols related to warehouse operations, especially when handling electrical components and materials for harsh environments.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.Excellent communication skills.Experience with ERP systems and barcode scanning technology.Certification in forklift operation or other warehouse equipment.Experience with ERP systems and barcode scanning technology.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
