If you are passionate about logistics, supply chain management, and leading a team to success, we want to hear from you! **Your new role** As a Warehouse Manager at the Nordic Distribution Centre, you will lead a team of 10 warehouse operators in maintaining efficient warehouse operations. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing resources, and ensuring that targets are met, all while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Your role includes: + Team Leadership and Development: Empower the team to take ownership of their tasks while ensuring effective collaboration. + Resource and Operations Management: Oversee the allocation of resources across the warehouse, ensuring the team has the necessary tools, training, and equipment for efficient daily operations. + Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all applicable GxP standards. + Drive process improvements and operational excellence practices, such as visual management and systematic problem-solving, to increase efficiency and reduce waste. + Collaborate with departments across the organization, including quality and supply chain teams, to ensure smooth coordination of operations. + Use data and KPI’s to track team performance, set targets, and drive decision-making. Regularly analyze data to identify trends, solve problems, and improve operational outcomes. + Health, Safety and Environment: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment. **Your future team** The Nordic Distribution Centre department consists of 24 employees, including 3 teams: NDC Warehouse, NDC Preparation and NDC Support. There is a very close collaboration throughout the department and within the leadership team. The department is a part of Distribution, Supply Chain. You will work at Nordic Distribution Centre at Lundbeck Headquarter (Valby, Denmark). The Nordic Distribution Centre is open Monday to Thursday from 07:00 to 23:15, and on Fridays from 07:00 to 15:00. You will primarily work during the day, but flexibility regarding visibility and availability for evening shifts is preferred. **What you bring to the team** We envision that you have a higher education degree, such as a cand.merc, diplomingeniør, civilingeniør, or a similar qualification. Below are the key competencies and experiences that will help you thrive in this role: + Leadership and Project Management: Experience in leadership or project management is a must. + Pharmaceutical Industry and GxP Knowledge: Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and understanding of GxP standards would be beneficial. + Operational Excellence and Supply Chain Expertise: Experience with LEAN methodologies and Supply Chain processes, focusing on efficiency and waste reduction. + SAP and Warehouse Management Systems: Familiarity with SAP, especially Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), is beneficial but not essential. + Great analytical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis, KPIs, and reports. + Language Proficiency: Fluent in Danish for internal communication, with English proficiency required for cross-functional communication and reporting. + Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Structured approach to problem-solving, managing several tasks at once, and driving effective decisions. **Our promise to you** Lundbeck offers an inspiring workplace and innovative culture, where our curiosity, accountability and adaptability enable us to transform lives.
