The Warehouse Manager manages day-to-day distribution operations and warehouse supervisors.

Essential (E)Functions Performed % Oversees warehouse operations including looking at new ways of increasing efficiency, order picking accuracy, and overall performance improvement. % Develops, implements, and monitors warehouse efficiency reports. % Motivates, organizes and encourages teamwork to ensure daily productivity goals are met % Directs and manages warehouse supervisors. Hires, trains and evaluates warehouse supervisors % Sets goals and objectives and effectively manages labor. % Observes and enforces safety, GMP, programs and attends appropriate training sessions. % Responsible for Bainbridge warehousing and assists with budgeting labor. % Participates in continuous improvement projects. % Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP and SQF requirements. % Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to direct manager. % Responsible for partnering with others; Sharing knowledge, skills and information within your team and across functional areas. % Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies within staff, as well as monitoring their performance and progress. % Helps oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles and fork lifts related to warehousing % Assists with cycle counting as neededContinually· Responsible to support safety culture by practicing safe work behaviors, reporting potential hazards, and conducting safety observations.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Knowledge: Bachelor of Science/Arts degree or equivalent experience required.Five plus years of experience in managing warehouse operations.
Skills and Competencies:
Experience using a WMS and conveyor picking system required. Strong communication skills. Bilingual speaking skills (English/Spanish) preferred.
Job Specific Requirements:
In the event that the Warehouse Manager is absent, the Department Manager is responsible for providing an equally qualified person to cover this position.
