As a Warehouse Supervisor you will:

\r\n\r\n

1. Ensures the optimal utilization of the organization’s facilities by assessing and evaluating the physical space
\r\nrequirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet those needs. Manages all capital and other facility and
\r\ngrounds improvement projects. Ensures proper functioning of the facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance.
\r\n2. Manages the development, implementation and continual improvement of the operating methods, equipment, systems
\r\nand operational infrastructure of the organization.
\r\n3. Manages the organization’s environmental and safety program, including ensuring adherence to all health and safety
\r\nlaws and regulations, completion of all required audits, investigation of all accidents or safety incidents, analyzing all
\r\nemployee safety training needs and implementing required training and ensuring overall environmental and safety
\r\neducation for associates.
\r\n4. Oversees and manages the production procedures to launch new and optimize process for existing product lines,
\r\ndesign of packaging equipment and warehouse packaging and labeling to ensure the safe, convenient and attractive
\r\ntransport of the organization’s products to customers.
\r\n5. Manages the kaizen and quality circle initiatives for the materials operations group in all assigned locations.
\r\n6. Creates operating budgets and capital budgets with other leadership team members. Manages department expense
\r\nbudget. Participates in the business planning and budgeting process. Develops short and long-term cost
\r\ncontainment/reduction strategies.
\r\n7. Performs Human Resources activities including tracking of time and attendance, associate counseling, scheduling,
\r\nevaluating work performance and assisting in skill development.
\r\n8. Fosters high morale and teamwork by supporting the activities of subordinates through daily interaction and one on one
\r\ncontact.
\r\n9. Performs other duties as assigned.

This is a Full-Time opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Schedule: Monday to Friday 5:30 am to 3:30 pm. plus overtime.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:
\r\n· Experience with supply chain and logistics theories and practices
\r\n· Effective communication and diplomacy skills to guide and lead others
\r\n· Strong leadership with a demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects
\r\n· Ability to translate strategy into actionable information and monitor strategy achievement
\r\n· Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills
\r\n· Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
\r\n· Working knowledge of distribution or warehouse management software systems

Pay Rate:

\r\n\r\n
