PURPOSE OF POSITON
The Warehouse Night Supervisor is responsible for directing the daily activities of the warehouse. This includes overseeing staff. The Warehouse Supervisor is accountable for the safe, efficient, and economical operation of the facility and equipment. The Warehouse Supervisor may also be required to perform other duties in addition to his/her own.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Works independently setting prioritiesAudit / check orders being pulled by order pullers. Check for accuracy of items and quantitiesPeriodically check and respond to all e-mails each shiftMake recommendations to managers to improve operationsInteract with associates, peers and management to establish goalsEnsure timely preparation ad completion of all necessary recordsReplenish stock – go through back stock and organize back stock areaPut away product from vendorsCheck in product and verify invoice amountsPull orders as neededSafely and efficiently utilize the warehouse material handling equipment.Read and understand product descriptions, and packaging.Consistently meet established company production and service level standardsGeneral clean-up of warehouse including but not limited to: sweeping, and cardboard bailingFace ShelvesSecure warehouse and set alarm upon leavingOther tasks as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Temperature extremes: hot and humid temperatures and/or 5 below zero freezer temperatureNight / weekend shift workOccasional overtime as necessary to meet production schedules.
SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY:
Assumes responsibility for the workplace safety of self and co-workers, and for safety conditions of the work location.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or general equivalency degree requiredMeet minimum requirements on pre-employment testing, including physical ability tests and drug screenMust be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basisAbility to consistently meet minimum production standards and company service levelsAbility to read, speak and comprehend the English language
