Description
We are hiring a Warehouse Office Assistant for John Deere in the Quad Cities! If you excel at data entry, have a knack for maintaining accurate records, and can effectively respond to inquiries, this role might be for you. You will be part of a team that ensures information is readily retrievable and assists in the preparation of various documents for processing.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately enter data from standard forms and reports into the appropriate systems, spreadsheets, or databases.
• Support the team by performing clerical duties such as document imaging and filing.
• Ensure clarity and completeness of records by proofreading in accordance with defined procedures.
• Respond to standard inquiries from both internal and external customers.
• Refer complex requests to the appropriate staff members.
• Assist in preparing a variety of documents for processing by others, this may include scanning, filing, collating, or indexing records.
• Use Microsoft Office Suites and other tools to ensure efficient data management.
• Troubleshoot issues related to data entry and record maintenance.
• Collaborate with appropriate personnel to ensure smooth operation of the office.
• Employ your skills in Microsoft Excel and other database software to maintain accurate customer credit records.
Requirements
Skillset we are seeking:
• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks to maintain and update records
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel to manage complex spreadsheets
• Understanding of Procedures to ensure compliance with company policies
• Familiarity with Database management for efficient retrieval of information
• Troubleshoot skills to resolve issues promptly and efficiently
• Experience in Clerical Duties for smooth office operations
• Proficient in managing Spreadsheets for data organization and analysis
• Proofreading skills to ensure accuracy of documents
• Ability to liaise with Appropriate Personnel for effective communication
• Good at handling External Customers and maintaining detail-oriented relationships
• Strong Communicator to ensure effective information transmission
• Skilled in Photocopying/Scanning documents for record keeping.
