The Warehouse Officer for Leica Biosystems is responsible for a range of duties to support the overall warehouse operations to ensure timely receipt, storage and dispatch of goods and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Some roles may include specific Inwards Goods and/or Dispatch responsibilities.
This position is part of the Warehouse Distribution Team located in Mount Waverley and will be on-site. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Prepare goods for storage or shipment, labelling and categorizing items according to specifications.
+ Daily replenishment of materials to cell Kanban bins, supermarket and common warehouse areas
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Experience in using both reach and counterbalance forklifts (Inwards Goods only)
+ Experience in warehousing and inventory management processes
+ Understanding of kanban
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: A valid forklift license is required for the role.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Experience in SAP
+ Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office suites
+ Understanding of medical device industry
