Job Description:

Location: Saint Charles, Illinois

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Warehouse Operations Clerk candidates in the St. Charles, IL area.

Responsibilities:

• Read work orders or follow verbal instructions to determine materials to be moved.
• Feed, remove, flex, jog, and stack printed sheets, folded signatures, labels, or other in-process products to and from assigned equipment.
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, and assist in loading materials into trucks, ensuring proper strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage during transit.
• Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated areas using hand trucks, electric dollies, or other devices.
• Count, weigh, and record the number of units moved or handled on daily production sheets.
• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials and mark information on cases, bales, or other containers.
• Stack or assemble materials into bundles and use banding machines and clinchers to secure them.
• Operate automated equipment or industrial trucks/electric hoists to assist in loading or moving materials and products when necessary.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills for counting and recording materials.
• Ability to utilize computer.
