Warehouse Operations Leader-Nutek

Purpose and role of job:

Lead all warehouse team members on crew and manage company assets to safely maximize shipping, receiving, and other warehouse associated activities

Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

General Responsibilities

Follows and ensures accountability for all safety rules and policies and drives a culture of personal responsibility and keeping each other safe.Follows and ensures accountability for all necessary regulations (i.e.: GMP, FDA, and ISO).Monitors all shipping and receiving functions and sets crew goals in collaboration with management and other team leads.Plans daily warehouse schedules to ensure efficient utilization of team members in response to workload and special project, making just-in-time adjustments to ensure staffing requirements are met to achieve crew goals.Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.

Communication/Collaboration Responsibilities

Ensures proper communications and plans to shift support and crews.Verifies communication of process changes and quality procedure/specification changesSubmits work requests to correct issues that can be resolved by Support TeamsServes as liaison for communication between the warehouse and other departments.

Safety Leadership

Demonstrates and verifies 100% compliance of safety best practices with team members (PPE, LOTO, cleaning, no jewelry, loose fitting clothing, etc.)    Assures personal participation and team verification for 100% compliance of:Monthly – Safety Committee Meeting attendance, safety training in the LMS & safety auditsQuarterly –safety observations, safety training in the LMS, & safety auditsAs needed – safety incident reporting & related follow up action items.

Business Management & Administrative Responsibilities

Asset and Warehouse Management

Achieves high level of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management and documentation.Manages events and/or incidents per protocols.Leads a robust asset management and housekeeping program.

Time Management & Administration

Assists in time and attendance record keeping.Utilizes & maintains Outlook calendar to organize individual’s schedule, meetings, and events.Completes warehouse efficiency reports as needed.Supports/facilitates internal and external warehouse audits.

Education and experience requirements:

Minimum of ten years of progressive professional experience in a related field.Minimum of five years of experience in a leadership capacity.Minimum of two years of college courses (preferred).Proven ability to lead and manage a dynamic team.Advanced knowledge of all processes and equipment.Standard knowledge of forklift operation.Must be Forklift Certified by First Quality within first 30-day.Excellent oral and written communication skills, computer skills, reasoning, and mathematical skills.Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and guide all levels of team members.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Experience with Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook & Excel)Experience with an ERP System
