To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a demonstrative understanding of storage and distribution procedures.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n\nTo strategically manage all warehouse, distribution and maintenance activities in line with DHL's policies and vision, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of all functions, performance and productivity, ensuring safe and cost-effective methods are a priority consideration\nTo manage and implement the daily coordination of direct reports, ensuring that all schedules, regulations, records and working practices are up-to-date and in line with company policies and UK legislation, whilst maintaining excellent working practices and health & safety compliance across the business\nResponsible for up to 10 niche and fast-paced ecommerce customers \nTo continuously review and evaluate warehouse policies, procedures, and systems to ensure that the site is operating at maximum efficiency and optimum level\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nPrevious and practical experience as a Warehouse Operations Manager or similar role within a busy logistics environment\nEcommerce experience or knowledge is desirable\nCommercially astute, with strong customer and stakeholder management experience - dealing with multiple business owners\nComputer literate with an ability to translate an manipulate data in PowerBi and Microsoft Excel. Experience using Warehouse Management systems is also advantageous\n\n
