As our Warehouse Operations Manager, you will play an instrumental role in overseeing and optimizing operations at our South Carolina location. You’ll manage multiple departments within our warehouse facility, directly contributing to the success of our operations.
In this position, you’ll lead a team of approximately 15 employees, ensuring seamless operations across receiving, stocking, inventory management, processing, picking, pulling, packing, and shipping. On a day-to-day basis, you’ll actively engage with your team, conducting audits, and driving operational improvements while identifying near and long-term strategic initiatives the strengthen the facility’s operations.

Hours of Operation: 7AM to 5PM Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed
What you’ll do
Oversee daily operations across multiple departments, including receiving, stocking, inventory, processing, picking, pulling, packing, and shippingProvide direct supervision to warehouse personnel, conducting performance evaluations, coaching, training, and cross-training to ensure coverage for all processesManage safety protocols, ensuring compliance with GCG safety guidelines, and maintain documentation for an ISO-certified warehouseRotate throughout the production floor, conducting continuous audits, and implementing lean warehouse practices and 5S improvementsEnsure the proper maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, order pickers, and standing reach trucks, and manage outsourced preventative maintenance (PM) schedulesMaintain inventory accuracy and integrity through regular cycle count reconciliation and auditingCollaborate effectively with various departments to ensure seamless communication and operationsMaintain adequate supplies and resources for warehouse order fulfillment, including reels, pallets, and PPE suppliesUphold cleanliness and security of the physical plant and ensure compliance with safety and loss prevention audits
What you’ll bring
Education & Experience
Strong background in distribution or warehousing, preferably with experience in tangible goods like wire and cable or similar industriesExperience managing teams, conducting performance reviews, and driving operational improvementsFamiliarity with warehouse equipment, including forklifts and powered industrial trucks (certification provided by the company)Knowledge of quality management systems or ISO standards is highly desirable
Skills & Competencies
Ability to analyze operational data and implement effective process improvementsExcellent communication and leadership skills to foster a positive work environmentProficiency in basic computer skills and adaptability to new software systemsExperience with lean warehouse practices, 5S principles, and inventory management
