Your Role: 

 

As a Warehouse Operator 2 at MilliporeSigma Ewing Site, you will pull components for packaging operations to help efficiently package and ship a quality product within a safe working environment. Specific responsibilities include:

 

Pull material with hand pulls, pallet jack, or forklift from room temp, cooler, or freezer locationsVerify product number, batch number, size, and piece count for each component required for kit or fillUtilize SAP to track and record all material movements and inventory adjustmentsTroubleshoot component shortages and/or problems and escalate to supervision as neededCoordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely component deliveriesStage kit and fill components on packaging floorRecord BOM information in packaging documentsProcess component returnsPerform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy

 

Physical Attributes:   

 

Wear PPE such as hard hats, safety shoes, safety glasses, and glovesLift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted & move more than 50 pounds with assistanceThe work area may occasionally be wet, humid, abnormally hot or coldSit, stand, walk, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, or crouch for the entire shiftUse close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and adjust focus

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

High School Diploma or GED

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Experience with material handling equipment including pallet jacks and forkliftsKnowledge of safety rules, ISO, and GMP quality standardsSAP experienceComputer skills including Microsoft OfficeWarehouse experienceAbility to do basic math-including metrics and conversionsGood time management and organizational skillsStrong attention to detailStrong written and oral communication skills and problem-solving skillsAbility to train others and work in a team setting
