Position Description:

Reviews shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, Customer Service requirements and other records to determine priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.Creates and maintain vendors’ records, purchase request records, purchase order records, receiving records, shipping records, and all associated logs as required.Organize products dispatch schedule with forwarders to meet customers requested delivery dates.Work closely with sales and customer service as one team to enhance overall customer satisfaction.Evaluate freight cost. Providing assistance in freight bids for strategic scenarios.Utilize analytical techniques to evaluate operational efficiency, cost impacts and opportunities for improvements.Ensure export, import regulatory and financial inventory control compliance.Develop network and relationship with customer and supplier, trade compliance business partners and government officer to facilitate effective review and approval process.Assist/facilitate/advice license application and management of executed licenses with process documentation program while identifying special trade incentives to reduce cost through improvement and system enhancement.Coordinates all requirements (within Shipping and Receiving) of Customer Service department to meet customer requirements for delivery and shipments.Assist vendors and assemble details (document requirements, routing instructions, tariff codes, etc.) for first sale orders and furnish to vendors. Review final documents.Monitor shipments and Customs clearance. Communicate status, delays to appropriate parties. Resolve shipment issues, and possess the ability to determine when to elevate to management for resolution.Maintain Import and Export document files in accordance with national regulations and Company policy.Perform Administrative tasks: copying, filing, faxing, scanning
