Warehouse Operator

SHIFT: Day Shift; Monday through Friday (7:30am - 5pm) During peak season, work may need to be performed during non-standard hours, including nights and weekends.  At times, the ability to work overtime also may be required. 

PAY:  $20.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience. The company also provides a comprehensive benefits package as well as other company sponsored benefits.

Job Summary:

This role is part of our Land O’Lakes, Inc., WinField United business that provides crop inputs and insights to farmers through our network independent ag retailers. As an Intermediate Warehouse Operator, you will be a valued team member who will perform tasks essential to our Agronomy Service Center and warehouse operations: coordinate inbound/outbound deliveries, pack and load product using a forklift, organize storage areas, assist with cycle counts, and maintain a safe, clean work area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Age:  18 years or olderExperience:  1+ years of work experience working in a warehouse environmentTime Management: Showing up on time, reliably completing tasks by the deadline, and adapting to changes in deadlines and priorities with minimal supervisionSafety: Ensuring the complete physical safety of oneself and one’s co-workers at all times without exceptionCoordination: Working well with others to meet team goals and adjusting to important changesComprehension: Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructionsActive Learning: Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.Active Listening: Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate.Quality Control Analysis: Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.Forklift experience preferred.

Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include:

Able to lift 60lbsFrequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movementsPerforming duties while wearing personal protective equipmentWorking across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust and chemicals are presentShift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime
