SummaryBaxter are looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our team within our manufacturing division at our Thetford plant. You will be responsible for loading finished goods on site, processing accordingly, and other general Warehouse duties, working proactively as part of a cross functional team. This role is shifts between 6am - 6pm Week 1 – Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun & 6am - 6pm Week 2 – Wed, Thu. You will receive a salary of £24,986.36 whilst training. Once training is complete your salary will increase to £26,253.12 and you will also receive a weekly shift allowance of £64.78. We offer some fantastic benefits which are listed below;

Duties & Responsibilities To receive and book in raw materialsLocate raw materials in both Gate 1 and Gate 2 Warehouse as requiredProcess and load Baxter goods and Raw Materials for dispatchTo support in day to day running of the Warehouse dutiesBeing able to work as part of cross functional team and learn various jobs in both the Warehouse and Packing areas to support the businessBeing able to work on their own initiative as and when requiredTo assist routine blind count auditsTo perform regular routine cleaning tasks on the fork truck fleet and the work area to ensure they are kept clean at all timesComply with EHS/GMP/GDP company & corporate policies and external regulatory requirementProvide cover for colleaguesTo notify Quality assurance and the Process Leading hands of any deviations from the processPlacing orders where needed for Raw Material and items required for ProductionReplenish Stock locations when needed

Essential experience Computer Skills – Familiar and comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, OutlookPrevious experience working in a warehouse environmentPunctual with good attendanceExcellent communication skillsWell organised and task drivenAble to work in a GMP environmentQuality focused – able to deal with routine, repetitive tasks whilst maintaining good attention to detailTeam Working - working as part of a team & sharing workload fairly with a willingness to work co-operatively and supportively in order to solve problems and achieve team targetsMaintains high standards of behaviour whilst managing workloadProcess Orientated - must follow set standards and ways of workingFlexible - able to carry out varied tasks often at short notice, adjust break timings around the production, work additional hours and adjust working hours as required by the businessAbility to remain calm in a fast paced environment
