Warehouse Operator I

The Role

We are currently looking for General Warehouse Professionals with various levels of warehouse experience.  As a Warehouse Operator with MAPEI you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be involved in all aspect of the warehouse operations; shipping and receiving, managing goods, quality control, and utilizing computerize systems (RF Scanners & ERP system) to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery for MAPEI’s customers.  

Total hourly payrate up to $19.50 (commensurate with experience) plus premium shift differential: $1.00 p/hr for 2nd shift and $2.00 p/hr for 3rd shift. 

We are currently hiring for 2nd shift (3pm to 11:30pm)

Pull and prepare orders while maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area  Process inbound and outbound shipments Load and unload pallets Pack shipping containers and/or product bags  Ensure inventory count inventory Tack orders and document products Operate various types of warehouse equipment; sit down, stand up, cherry-pickers, clamp and reach forklifts

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you should be willing to get your hands dirty a bit. Should be mechanically inclined and have experience in a warehouse manufacturing. Forklift experience/certification is a plus. You must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Demonstrate proficient oral and written communication skills. Have the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance. You must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be available for overtime as needed and able to accommodate the designated shift hours as assigned in the offer: 1st shift (7:00 am- 3:30 pm), 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm) or a 3rd shift (11:00 pm to 7:30 am).
