Are you ready to move the world forward? Apply now. **BASIC FUNCTION:** The incumbent inventories, moves, and stores materials and product to pre-determined locations. Enters data and performs cycle counts. This person will be required to work on projects alone or in a team environment. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Working from the direction of the supervisor, the job requires the movement of materials from inbound freight to work stations or to storage areas. + The incumbent is responsible for receiving all incoming parts. Catalog and mark materials to insure it stored proper locations. The incumbent must know how to enter data and complete required reports. + Maintains paperwork on arriving materials and distributes to the appropriate person. + Responsible for all inventory location accuracies; this will include responsibility for cycle counts. + Perform random quality checks of parts entering the storeroom to ensure that they match the packets and prints attached to the part. He / She must have computer skills and be familiar with IFS. + Able to work timely and expeditiously to deliver an on-time product without manufacturing errors. + Most of the work performed will be individually. Essential tools and coating equipment will be provided, however accountability and maintenance will be the employee’s responsibility. + Performs other duties as directed by leaders and management. + Actively participate in department safety, demonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors which conform to all Valmont safety policies and procedures. **SKILLS /QUALIFICATIONS:** + High School Diploma or equivalent + At least 2 years experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is desired. + Knowledge of various storage and receiving procedures. + Basic computer knowledge and an understanding of job-related programs. + Knowledgeable of Valmont’s quality procedures, standards, and practices and will be aware of Valmont’s environmental policies. **Benefits** Valmont offers employees and their families a comprehensive Total Wellbeing benefit package to ensure their individual and family’s overall wellness needs are met.
