Competitive Wages – The pay range is $26.69 to $35.59 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage.
Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Additional premiums for swing and grave shifts are available. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), paid holidays (between 7-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).
As an Order Selector at our dairy facility, you'll be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders to ensure timely delivery of our fresh dairy products. Your duties will include reading order tickets, locating and selecting products from the warehouse, and preparing them for shipment. You'll also ensure inventory is organized and properly rotated to maintain product quality. Working closely with the warehouse and logistics teams, you'll play a critical role in maintaining efficiency and accuracy in our order fulfillment process. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be essential in delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Shift:
Split days off, Saturdays are a required work day 9am to 6pm Mandatory OT depending on business needs
Main responsibilities
Select orders – By using printed pick list, select and pull milk crates to required quantities to send to the palletizer and wrap machine. (Heavy Lifting) Use forklift to load trailers with product. Ability to record correct information relating to trailer numbers and correct store information on bill of lading. Follow and maintain 5S and housekeeping standards for work areas. Operate automated pallet wrapper. Complete required paperwork and IPad (Safety Chain) documentation as needed. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager. Split days off, must be able to work on SaturdaysLift up to 50 lbs. throughout the day Standing or walking through the entire day
What we are searching for.
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment preferred. Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to follow recipes, measurements, and instructions accurately. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities. Willingness to follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed. Forklift, pallet jack certified is preferred.
