Adecco is assistant a local client in the Davie area searching for a Warehouse Retail Sales Associate with experience in selling parts. Our client is wholesaler for air conditioner & refrigeration parts. This is a temp to hire opportunity.
**Job Summary** The candidate will work as a Counter & Warehouse Assistant, responsible for assisting with sales transactions both in-person and over the phone, handling customer inquiries, operating the point-of-sale system, and maintaining inventory in the warehouse. They will also be involved in loading and unloading delivery vehicles and managing general maintenance tasks. Even Simpler: The job involves helping customers buy things at a store counter or over the phone and keeping track of items in a warehouse. You might drive a forklift to move boxes around.
**Counter & Warehouse Assistant**
We are looking for an experienced Counter & Warehouse assistant.
Minimum 2 to 3 years experience.
Valid Florida Driver's license.
**Position Duties and Responsibilities.**
Counter:
+ Assist with in-person sales transactions
+ Assist customers with phone orders
+ Assist with customer inquiries and issues
+ Customer Interaction In-person/ via phone /e-mail
+ POS System Operation
+ Prepare customer orders for company delivery
+ Keep in-person point-of-sale shelves re-stocked
+ Maintain a Clean Showroom and Counter Area
Warehouse:
+ Material handler with warehouse responsibility
+ Load/unload delivery vehicles
+ Check-in inventory
+ Stock inventory
+ Re-stock inventory
+ General maintenance
+ Deliver customer orders as a secondary driver. (15-18 days annually)
+ Forklift operation
Skills:
+ Excellent communication and customer service skills (well-spoken and mild-mannered)
+ Basic computer skills
+ Math Skills
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds
+ Fluent in English, Spanish a plus but not required
+ Reliable
+ Self-motivated
+ Able to work independently
+ Team oriented
+ Proactive
+ Organized
Business Hours: Mon – Fri 8: AM – 5 PM (one hour for lunch). Availability to work 2 Saturdays a month (8:30 AM – 12 M) from April to October.
