Warehouse Shift Lead

The Shift Lead will play a vital role in supporting the team with daily operations, focusing on ensuring efficiency and collaboration. This role involves spending most of the shift on the production floor, assisting associates, and working closely with the client and management to maintain smooth processes.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / hour
Duties:
Duties include but, are not limited to:
+ Conduct regular shift check-ins to ensure operational goals are met.
+ Actively work on the production floor alongside team members, providing guidance and support.
+ Enforce GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), PPE requirements, and safety protocols.
+ Uphold and ensure compliance with all SIMOS and client policies.
+ Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Site Manager to address operational needs and challenges.
+ Demonstrates reliability and adherence to industry-standard Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.
+ Conducts thorough product inspections for quality and potential foreign material contamination.
+ Supplies production lines efficiently and as needed to maintain workflow.
+ Ensures accurate placement of products into containers, boxes, or pallets.
+ Maintains a clean and organized work area to uphold safety and operational standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
+ Basic math proficiency.
+ Strong understanding of and compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
+ Ability to stand and perform manual tasks throughout the shift.
+ Capability to lift to 70 lbs as required.
Work Environment and Expectations:
+ Exposure to various machines, noise levels, and temperature changes in a manufacturing setting.
+ Operates within a collaborative team environment, requiring respectful and professional communication with all team members.
+ Flexibility to work necessary overtime based on staffing needs and customer demand, including across shifts.
The Shift Lead will serve as a key point of contact, fostering teamwork and ensuring adherence to workplace standards.
