If you are looking for career development or simply a great place to be, consider joining us as a Warehouse Operations Supervisor at our distribution center in Union City, GA **Your Role** As a Commercial Shipper you will be responsible for moving materials within the warehouse and the loading / unloading of materials onto or from vehicles utilizing a forklift, reach truck, order picker or other heavy material handling equipment. Responsibilities also include receiving, storing, picking, packing, verification, shipping/manifesting, screening and other various duties as assigned to ensure the full and efficient operation of the warehouse. You will work Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm or 5:00 am - 1:30 pm and will be paid weekly at $19.48 per hour with a full benefits package. **Your Responsibilities** + Verify and receive materials into inventory + Verify required inbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly counted + Ensure inbound and outbound deliveries are accurate and free of damage + “Dangerous Goods”: when receiving dangerous goods, the necessary procedures must be followed and these shipments must be stored in the designated section of the warehouse + Use Material Handling Equipment or other designated means to load goods into trailers or other designated transport vehicles for distribution + Other duties asassigned **Your Skills and Experiences** + High school diploma or equivalent + 1 year of recent experience in a warehousing or distribution environment + 1 year forklift experience + Can lift up to 50 pounds + Can walk or stand for extended periods of time while wearing steel toe or composite toe shoes in a non-climate controlled environment + Must be a US Citizen **Good Reasons to Join** There has never been a better time to work in logistics.
