Job Description:

Location: Waterbury, Connecticut

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Warehouse Shipping Associates in the Waterbury, CT area!

The Warehouse Shipping Clerk plays an integral role within our logistics process. You will be responsible for maintaining the inbound shipments of our products and outbound orders for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Reads and takes action on order or transfer fulfillment, and follows oral instructions on materials or containers to be moved, gathered, or distributed, type and quantity of product to be shipped, and packing requirements, such as cartons, pallets or wrapping material to be used.
• Attaches identifying labels, packing slips, Bills of Lading to product shipments and marks information correctly on outer and inner cartons and/or pallets as orders are filled with attention to detail on accurate placement of labels
• Fulfills orders from stock; selects and stages items, parts, or products to be shipped to customers, and checks customer orders for accuracy, add-ons, or special items.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code.

Desired Background/Skills:

• 5 years of prior shipping or warehouse experience. Must show longevity in prior positions.
• Ability to use computer shipping software.
• Ability to read/write fluently in English.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
