This position is responsible for all duties associated with the shipping of orders to customers and performing a wide variety of parts processing operations, focusing on International Customer and Orders and Customer discrepancies. Under general supervision and direction where a definite objective is set up requiring the use of some standard work procedures. Employee plans and arranges own work and work of other Parts Processors for International Orders referring some questionable issues to the supervisor. Will at times be required to serve in the capacity as the Team Coordinator and Shipping Clerk/Receiving Clerk.
Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform tasks as directed by the Shipping ManagerDirect Work Load Management to the Team of International OrdersWill at times be required to serve in the capacity of Team CoordinatorAssist in auditing of parts that were picked and packedAccurately and efficiently pick customer and production ordersPrepare customer orders for stocking or shipment, focusing on International Shipments and OrdersAccurately count inventory in locations when zero ships are reportedOwn and Operate customer issues with discrepancies by cycle countingWork with Customer Care and Hobart Service branches to resolve issues with orders, shipments and carriers to satisfy the customerRecord inventory transactions into computer system as well as work cross-functionally with Material Management and Receiving TeamGenerate and send SLI’s and other Customs documentation to support business needsKeeps work area in order and readily participates in housekeeping dutiesSupports and maintains a safe workplace, including observing all safety rulesOrder supplies (indirect and or direct)All other duties as assignedQualificationsEducation and Work Experience:
Accredited High School diploma or GED1+ years’ experience in a warehouse environment with partsReceiving parts (stock and non-stock)Shipping parts (Domestic and International)Good interpersonal skills with emphasis on ability to work in a team environmentAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to be flexible in working overtime, different shifts and weekendsDesired Education/Experience:
