Job Title:  Warehouse Shop Foreman (ECM)

Job Summary: ECM Holding Company has an opportunity for a Shop Foreman in Pompano, Florida.  The Warehouse Shop Foreman provides essential support to the Warehouse Manager in overseeing all aspects of the production process, ensuring the highest quality standards. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Normal operating hours are between 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Overtime as required.  This is a Non-Exempt, hourly position, eligible for overtime.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing the warehouse and Crane Yard Coatings Corrosion Protection Projects. Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules, ensuring timely completion of all project milestones. Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively implement solutions to mitigate risks. Facilitating deliveries when needed. Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process to ensure adherence to established standards. Supervise and mentor employees, providing guidance and support as needed. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment. Manage relationships with external vendors (e.g., freelancers, contractors) ensuring timely delivery and quality of services. Maintain clear and concise communication with the Production Manager, project stakeholders, and team members. Prepare regular reports on project progress, budget status, and any other relevant information. Handle administrative tasks, warehouse “housekeeping” including ordering office and warehouse supplies. Completes Safety tasks, including but not limited to chemical tracking and inspections, maintaining floor markings, and forklift inspections. Completes a monthly safety inspection on the facility. Assisting as needed with vehicle maintenance and tracking. Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in a leadership role. 2+ years in the construction or manufacturing  industry preferred. Experience in Warehouse setting preferred Are you able and willing to work Overtime

 

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

 Lifting frequently. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.  Standing for extended periods, up to 6 hours per day. Walking, continuously. Climbing ladders while carrying weight Wearing personal protective gear correctly including glasses, gloves, respirator, hard hat and other PPE required.
