Warehouse Specialist, Ammunition Residue Yard

ASO is looking for a Warehouse Specialist to support the EAGLE LSS Contract in Fort Cavazos, TX.
**Responsibilities**
+ The Warehouse Specialist conducts a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of U.S. Army's supply procedures and policies.
+ Provide a second independent check of National Stock Number, Lot Number, Department of Defense Identification Code (DODIC), Condition Code, count and storage location of ammunition residue during unit turn-ins.
+ inventory and preparation for shipping.
+ Assisting in determining proper markings and application in regard to scrap, recycle or preparation of markings of residue and or weights and the inspection of containers.
+ Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
+ Routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, verification and accuracy of residual counts.
+ Ensure that safety and physical security rules and regulations are followed appropriately.
+ Always prepare yourself for the next higher position of Warehouse Lead.
+ This worker may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.

**Qualifications**
+ 2+ years of relevant work experience in warehousing.
+ Knowledge of Army logistical functions.
+ Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
+ Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result and obtain/maintain a CAC.
+ High School Diploma/GED.
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Ammo-45 Introduction to Ammunition.
+ Ammo-112 Explosives Storage Safety.
+ Military Occupational Specialties 55B/89B.
+ Current Driver's License
**Physical Demands:**
+ include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching. This position involves working both indoors and outdoors. Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions. Able to complete all Ammunition required training.

+ Hourly Compensation: $19.06.
