Responsibilities
The Warehouse Specialist, Lead is assigned to the Storage Section of the Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) and is responsible for the supervision, training, welfare and safety of assigned personnel. Responsible for the full execution of all tasks associated with the assigned area, i.e. inventories, issues, turn-ins, receipts, daily maintenance of assigned government equipment, bunker maintenance-inside and outside (vegetation control).
Loads, unloads, stacks, and stores ammunition, including rockets.
Reviews unit paperwork for accuracy and for compliance with existing regulations.
May conduct an informal safety inspection of vehicles entering the ASP. May escort unit personnel into the ASP, and identifies the correct ammunition by type, lot and location, and issues same to unit personnel.
Assists units with loading and securing the load, and may do so by use of a forklift, dolly, or other item of equipment.
Maintains accountability of all items issued and makes appropriate entries on the Magazine Data Card. May inspect loaded vehicles for proper blocking and bracing, and to ensure no violations of compatibility have occurred, and to ensure load is properly placarded prior to exiting the ASP.
Assists with the receipt of commercial vehicles transporting ammunition to the ASP by unloading, segregating, and placing into storage items contained in the shipment.
Assists with inventories, and with the thorough screening of turn-in items. Assists with the preparation of outbound shipments of live or unserviceable ammunition and explosives.
May assist in the packing, unpacking, inspection, re-warehousing process to include remarking/re-stenciling ammunition and containers.
Must have a familiarity with procedures relating to both automated and non-automated customer units.
This position involves working both indoors and outdoors. Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.

Qualifications
Military Occupational Specialties 55B/89B or 5 years of relevant work experience in ammo storage operations.
2+ years of supervision/leadership experience.
Knowledge of Army logistical functions.
Must be able to obtain forklift license.
Microsoft Office Skills.
Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation and obtain/maintain a CAC.
Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach and walk for extended periods of time.
Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.

Pay & Benefits:
