Your Role This role comprises all semi-skilled warehouse tasks required to receive, store, pick and ship customer orders. The role is differentiated with General Labor by its requirement for additional material handling equipment, process, or technical skills. You will report to the Air Logistics Warehouse Manager. Your Responsibilities Follow standard warehouse practices and work instructions required to maintain high levels of inventory and location accuracyDocuments and identifies all discrepancies to the Team LeadAccurately complete routine documentation, such as check-in sheets for export/import, manifests, MHE inspections and other documents pertaining to warehouse operationsPerform a variety of physically demanding general labor duties according to standard work instructions, such as manually loading and unloading goods from a trailer, manually loading x-ray machine with unsecure cargoDemonstrates accuracy and efficiency in the execution of standard warehousing processes such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, checking and loading customer orders and productsComply with GMP requirements as applicable to ensure that all quality and regulatory requirements of Transport Canada and other applicable authorities and client requirements are metDemonstrates and maintains a skill set capable of operating a variety of equipment used in a traditional warehouse environment examples include but are not limited to: scanners, computers, scales, pallet jacks and a variety of motorized material handlingFollows all company safety, security and housekeeping protocols. Respects customer and company property and equipmentProactive in accident & incident prevention and fills out these reports promptly and accurately when requiredEmployee maintains an acceptable availability for work record.
