Warehouse Specialist

Meridian, MS

As the Warehouse Specialist for Rolls-Royce, you will be responsible for general warehouse duties in our Aircraft Supply Centre in accordance with the storage plan of the site.

In this role, you will primarily be working in an outside environment and you will perform routine and scheduled inventories, reporting any deterioration or damages to stored material.

Key Accountabilities:

Verification of materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies or damageReceiving parts from vendors and/or other sites and the shipping of parts to vendors and/or other sites and determining and establishing storage locations for material routingMaintain, store, stack or palletize materials in accordance with the storage plan of the siteIssue material to customers, remove material from storage and prepare for shipmentAbility to work at least 10% overtime hours, when needed or required and also, available for Service Support on a 24-hour basis, including weekends and holidays  Ability to lift, hold and carry up to 50 pounds unaided

Basic Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent with 1+ years’ experience working in a warehouseAbility to work varying shifts and overtimeExperience with Microsoft Office Suite productsIn order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US citizen

Preferred Requirements:

Ability to obtain a Forklift licenseNALCOMIS experience preferredExperience of working with toolsAwareness of safety proceduresAt least 1 year of experience driving a forklift
