Warehouse Specialist
**Job Title: Warehouse Specialist** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Specialist to take full ownership of our warehouse operations. This role is ideal for someone with management or lead experience who can efficiently organize and manage inventory in our recently expanded facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking inventory levels, pulling orders, navigating inventory software, and implementing an efficient barcode system. **Responsibilities** + Track all inventory levels and adjust min/max levels in coordination with the Production Manager to maintain efficiency. + Manually pull orders for sales and prepare them for shipping and receiving. + Navigate and enhance the capabilities of Fishbowl inventory software. + Set up new items with descriptions for all machine types and excess inventory. + Receive inventory from shipping and receiving. + Implement a barcode system for pulling parts and tracking items used in the shop. + Work with different vendors to check pricing and set up new accounts in Fishbowl. + Source new items such as seals, bearings, bolts, motors, belts, and controls. + Work externally with customers for order requests and item descriptions. + Work directly with the shop to set up kits and pull from shelves for new machines. + Implement an inventory system for non-inventory items for departments such as Welding, Machine Shop, Assembly, and Gearbox. + Organize the inventory area with the office assistant to increase efficiency within six months. + Create tasks for direct reports related to inventory duties. **Essential Skills** + 2-3 years of experience in warehouse, inventory specialist, or manufacturing roles. + 1 year of experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS), preferably Fishbowl. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + At least 6 months of experience operating a sit-down forklift or crane to move materials. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in material handling and vendor relationships. + Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory management. + Skills in shipping and receiving, picking, warehouse packing, cycle counts, and stocking. **Why Work Here?** Join a rapidly growing company that has doubled its sales year over year, achieving 13-14 million dollars in sales. You will have the opportunity to overlap with other shifts (5am-1pm and 1pm-9pm) to ensure smooth operations. The facility is temperature-controlled and has been significantly updated. The dress code is casual, including jeans, steel-toed boots, and hoodies, with potential uniforms for certain tasks.
