Warehouse Specialist
**Job Title: Warehouse Specialist** **Job Description** The Warehouse Specialist is a functional role that includes distribution order picking, stocking, packaging, and other material handling and inventory control tasks to ensure timely and accurate shipments are made to our customers. To ensure team continuity across all warehouse operations, this position may also be required to learn, perform, and/or be proficient within other areas of warehouse operations with advanced responsibility and train others. This position requires the team member with the flexibility and willingness to work in any environment within the warehouse operations. **Responsibilities** + Perform timely pick material using forklift and/or other material handling equipment. + Package and palletize orders. + Load and unload trucks. + Process stock transfers and material requests. + Replenish production and warehouse as directed. + Timely process physical and ERP goods movements and receipts, including documentation and physical condition verification. + Assist in timely returns processing. + Support cycle counting activities. + Complete confirmations, backflushing, and work order goods receipts. + Label orders for shipment including dangerous goods, international, and carrier paperwork and/or labels; certifications provided when needed. + Complete verifications of items picked for accuracy and condition. + Generate work orders and sales orders from ERP. + Assist in orientation and cross-training of Warehouse Associates. + Assist Warehouse Associates in troubleshooting issues as they arise, escalating to warehouse leadership appropriately. **Essential Skills** + Experience in picking, packaging, kitting, and warehouse packing. + Proficiency in order picking and inventory control. + Ability to use RF Scanner, pallet jack, and other material handling equipment. + Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes. + Capability to perform accurate labelling and palletizing. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Certifications for handling dangerous goods and international shipments as needed. + Experience with ERP systems for generating work orders and sales orders. + Ability to assist in the orientation and cross-training of warehouse staff. **Why Work Here?** In addition to competitive base pay, you will also enjoy an incentive plan based on financial delivery. As a manufacturer and distributor of products and supplies, the incumbent will be exposed to various temperatures, fumes, and loud noise in the manufacturing setting. Due to periodic time spent on the manufacturing floor, the incumbent must tolerate some exposure to these workplace characteristics and follow company safety procedures.
