Onin Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for a growing company in the Durham, NC area! If you're looking for an active, hands-on role in a fast-paced warehouse environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

What You'll Do as a General Warehouse Associate:

Picking:

Use a pallet jack to accurately pick and stage orders based on client demands.Stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products according to requirements.Ensure all picking tasks align with Standard Operating Procedures.

Quality Control:

Verify that all products and orders meet quality standards.Report damages or discrepancies promptly.Perform labeling, stacking, shrink-wrapping, and documentation as needed.

Safety and Housekeeping:

Follow all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.Adhere to OSHA/SDS standards and company-specific safety policies.

Equipment Operation:

Operate a pallet jack and other equipment safely and efficiently.Perform basic equipment maintenance and report issues as required.


Work Experience
Preferred Skills & Experience:Experience: 6+ months in warehouse/logistics/distribution environments preferred.Certification: Prior MHE certification is a plus.Skills: Familiarity with RF scanners, WMS systems, and basic computer operations.

Physical Requirements:

Regularly lift and move items weighing 21-50 lbs.Perform tasks requiring standing, bending, squatting, and reaching throughout the shift.Work in varying warehouse temperatures, depending on seasonal changes.
