Under minimal direction, the Warehouse Specialist works alongside the Service Manager, overseeing the entire warehouse operation. The Warehouse Specialist role is a hybrid role with much of the focus on the warehouse. Other duties may include daily inspection and inventorying of Division Service Trucks, assisting in the warehouse with equipment staging, and assisting in ordering stock parts.
What you can expect to do:
Assist the Service Manager with managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouseShipping and Receiving material for the Division and offloading materials, verifying counts to purchase orders, and checking shipments for damageSorting stock materials from job materialsMaintain desired stocking levels and correctly store and labeling and productEnsure all materials that come into the warehouse are correctly received in the ERP systemStaging materials for installation, shipment, or customer pick-up
Lead in physical inventory and cycle counts to maintain an accurate inventoryUtilizing company-specific software, field devices, and paperwork to maintain accurate inventory informationUsing hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment (including, but not limited to, box cutters, rolling carts, ladders, pallet jacks, lifts, drills, saws, etc.)Perform job site deliveries from time to timePerform all delivery offloads from the warehouse or job siteMaintaining a clean and safe work environmentPerforms other duties as assigned
Skills we are seeking:
Work requires reasonable judgment in applying and interpreting policy, procedures, or precedents to problems of a well-defined nature.Schedules delivery trucks, receives and tracks shipments using the appropriate tools and communicates with other team members.In addition, they are responsible for handling merchandise with care while entering data into software programs such as an inventory and record-keeping system.Interacts with team members regularly to ensure products and inventory are moved and accounted for.Demonstrate practical interpersonal skills to interact with all employees within the organization.Demonstrate planning and problem-solving/investigative skills as required to research inquiries related to job responsibilities.High School graduation or equivalent is required.One (1) year of warehouse experience is preferred.One (1) year of forklift and scissor lift experience is preferred.Customer Service OrientedDemonstrated leadership experience and capabilitiesBe accessible to customers and co-workersBe accountable to yourself and the company for your performanceBe positive and enthusiasticBe a team player, hustle, and have a great attitudePractical oral and written communication skillsActive listening skillsAbility to assess and evaluate situations effectivelyAbility to identify critical issues quickly and accuratelyAttention to detailBenefits:

Work incorporates a mixture of the warehouse, office administrative duties, and fieldwork. Therefore, this position is classified as essential and those employed are expected to report to work in all conditions unless otherwise directed. Able to pass Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and must have a valid driver’s license. Complete a fit for duty and a DOT before the start date. You will be required to attain your forklift and scissor lift certifications within 30 days and complete and earn your OSHA 30 certification training within 60 days of your effective start date.
