Position Summary:
Verify shipments against purchase orders and store goods systematicallyMonitor the rotation of ingredient inventory by First In, First Use processVerify accuracy of ingredients and recipes for all processing SKUs including lot numbers and amounts of ingredients for each batchAssist with consistency of everyday processing of quality approved productsManage separation of ingredients for storage to meet food safety standardsResponsible for implementation of quality documents for shipping and receiving of ingredients, including allergens, Kosher, non-GMO, and organic specific products Keep precise records and perform regular physical counts to maintain inventory accuracyPick, pack, and prepare orders, ensuring correct and secure packaging Minimum Position Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required
Experience in Shipping and ReceivingCommunicate effectively with all levels of the warehouse teamStrong computer skills – Office 365, inventory software, and Warehouse Management SystemsAbility to set targets and work towards achieving daily, weekly, monthly goalsConduct detailed inspections of incoming and outgoing productsEnsure all products meet established standards and specificationsIdentify defects and take appropriate action to remove faulty itemsExceptional ability to identify deviations in standards, processes, and methodologies and communicate issues in a timely mannerExpert attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and multitaskingMust always wear personal protective equipment when on production floorParticipates actively in facility safety initiatives, programs, and training sessionsUphold cleanliness and safety protocols to ensure a secure work environmentAbility to work a schedule of (5) full 8-hour workdays per week, with the flexibility to occasionally work overtime, nights and weekends as neededAbility to perform physically demanding tasksTimely and regular attendance.Performs other functions as required
We are seeking a Warehouse Specialist who will provide support as part of the Bev-Hub Team by maintaining ingredient inventory, food safety codes concerning ingredients for shipping/receiving, storage, processing, and quality approvals. Also, coordinates the transfer of raw materials, parts, and finished products between production and the external warehouse.
