**Overview** **Seacoast,** a **GCG** Company, is currently hiring **Warehouse Spooling Associates** to join our tight knit team in **Chesapeake, VA!** In this role, you will be responsible for **operating spooling machines, inventory control, and assisting with general warehouse duties as needed** . Accruals start date of hire + Seven paid holidays + Access to robust healthcare options, including medical, dental and vision coverage + Secure you future with 401(K) plan featuring employer contributions + Company paid - Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance + Voluntary benefits available **What You'll Do** + Daily set-up and operation of spooling machine to wind, spool, and package materials + Run test spool daily to ensure accurate measurements and specifications + Perform pre-operational checks to ensure proper functioning of equipment + Measure cable before returning to stock to ensure inventory accuracy + Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and ensure overall customer satisfaction. This includes regular meetings, reporting and feedback loops + Daily clean up of workstations including sweeping, clearing scrap wire, throwing trash away, etc + Assist with general shipping & receiving duties + Perform additional responsibilities as needed **What You'll Bring** + High School diploma or GED equivalent required + 3+ years in a warehouse environment required + Forklift experience required + Willingness to learn + Oracle experience a plus + Basic math and reading skills + Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs **About GCG** At **GCG** , our mission is to power, connect, and automate our world.
