POWDR is an adventure lifestyle company that inspires every human being with cool experiences in awesome places. Within POWDR’s portfolio are seven mountain resorts including Copper Mountain and Eldora Mountain Resort in Colorado; Boreal Mountain Resort and Soda Springs in the Lake Tahoe region of California; Mt. Bachelor in Oregon, Snowbird in Utah and SilverStar Mountain Resort in British Columbia, Canada.  Included in the POWDR portfolio, is Stovepipe Wells located in Death Valley National Park, operated under a long-term concessions contract with the National Park Service.

Zion Lodge is in National Register of Historic Places designed in 1924 by Gilbert Stanley Underwood in the National Park Service rustic style. The Zion Lodge is a year-round operation with 76 hotels rooms, 6 suites and 40 cabins as well as a restaurant, outside grab and go café, bar, gift shop and auditorium space. In the year 2025 a coffee and wine bar will be opening.

Zion Lodge is a welcoming, safe, and environmentally responsible resort providing accommodations and services inside Zion National Park. Over the next few years, the resort will undergo upgrades to rejuvenate accommodations and dining for public enjoyment. Renewable energy projects and energy efficiency upgrades will also be completed as well as other Sustainability innovations. POWDR operates Zion Lodge under a long-term concession contract with the National Park Service.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Stocker plays a crucial role in supporting the Food & Beverage (F&B) department at Zion Lodge. This position is responsible for receiving, organizing, and stocking inventory, ensuring the F&B department has the necessary supplies to operate smoothly. The Warehouse Stocker will work closely with kitchen staff, restaurant supervisors, and F&B management to maintain an efficient supply chain, ensuring stock levels are accurate, supplies are easily accessible, and deliveries are handled promptly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive deliveries of food, beverages, and other supplies for the F&B department.

Check shipments against orders to verify the accuracy of deliveries, ensuring no items are missing or damaged.

Stock shelves, refrigerators, and freezers with incoming products, ensuring items are properly rotated using the "First In, First Out" (FIFO) method.

Organize and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, storage rooms, and receiving areas.

Monitor stock levels and inform the F&B Manager of items running low or requiring replenishment.

Assist in tracking inventory usage to ensure accurate inventory records and avoid shortages.

Assist in performing regular inventory audits to ensure that stock levels match physical counts.

Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and carts safely, adhering to all safety regulations.

Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure that food storage areas are clean and compliant with health regulations.

Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the F&B Manager.

Work closely with kitchen staff, chefs, and restaurant supervisors to ensure supplies are readily available for daily operations.

Assist in delivering items from the warehouse to various F&B outlets as requested.

Communicate any supply chain issues or delays in deliveries to the F&B Manager and relevant team members.

Assist with organizing and preparing items for special events, banquets, or group dining requirements at Zion Lodge.

Support unloading and organizing large deliveries, ensuring all items are stocked and accessible for daily operations.

Help track and log waste or outdated items for removal or disposal following guidelines.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory levels, and any discrepancies between orders and shipments.

Assist the F&B Manager with compiling inventory and stock usage reports as needed.

Work Location:

Due to the in-person nature of the hospitality business, housing will be provided on-site and commuting from the local vicinity is also acceptable.

Due to the nature of our business, Zion Lodge is open every day. You must be prepared to work a schedule which may include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Able to work and thrive in Zion National Park.

Ability to requirements and compliance with our concessions contract.

Ability to get along well with people, be honest, punctual and reliable.

Ability to remain calm and friendly.

Ability to adapt to changing work conditions.

Prior experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or inventory management role is preferred.

Familiarity with inventory control procedures and stock rotation methods.

Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and follow safety protocols.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with the F&B team.

Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly
