Warehouse Supervisor
**Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor** **Job Description** As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will work closely with the Superintendent and Plant Manager to ensure smooth operations. Your responsibilities include supervising all operations such as inbound, outbound, and claims processing. You will be tasked with achieving various objectives, covering crews in the supervisor's absence, attending and facilitating crew meetings, preparing and maintaining work-related records, scheduling workforce, and leading continuous improvement initiatives toward best-in-class performance. **Hard Skills** + Previous UAW/HVC supervisory experience + Knowledge of current systems (SAP/EWM) + Excellent oral and written communication skills + Ability to interpret data and evaluate actions + Goal-oriented + Organizational skills + Ability to work outside traditional work hours + Experience with Building Safety, Error Rate, Denial Rate, Overtime Percentage, Absenteeism, Vacation Scheduling, On-Time Delivery, ISO Environmental Responsibilities, Process Improvement + Direct Supervision/training of GSR 6 supervisors **Soft Skills** + Self-starter + Continuous Improvement mindset + Dependability + Team-oriented + Leadership capability + Willingness to work their way up within a company **Job Type** This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in ROMULUS, MI. **Work Environment** The position is based at Brownstown Parts Redistribution Center (PRC), a large warehousing facility where aftermarket parts are received, stored, and shipped out to dealerships across the country. The facility includes a sheet metal operation, standard warehousing, and a dock operation. Safety is the top priority, and safety vests and glasses must be worn at all times on the warehousing floor. The job requires flexibility to work two shifts, with current operational hours from 6:00 AM until 1:30 AM, and may include some weekends and overtime as dictated by business needs. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
